Vintage 50's radio.
The radio was manufacture by Golden Pygmy in France. SCIP-pygmy Radio imported, marketed and manufactured wireless sets and radio, branded Pygmy. Pygmy,founded in 1932, had its heyday between 1950 and 1968. For nearly 20 years, SCIP has increased patent filings, it has shown great technical creativity, producing several world premieres, a subcontractor for some twenty French and foreign brands and exporting to Europe, Africa in North America and Asia. The company closed in 1976.

The radio has never been used and it works with D size batteries.
